Starting in Male, the journey begins with diving in the North Male Atoll, where iconic sites such as Banana Reef and Manta Point offer encounters with vibrant coral gardens, reef sharks, and the majestic manta rays. The boat’s luxurious amenities, including a sun deck, jacuzzi, and outdoor lounge, provide plenty of relaxation between dives, making it an ideal experience for both divers and non-divers.

The water temperature in the Maldives typically ranges from 26°C to 30°C (78°F to 86°F) year-round, making it comfortable for diving with minimal thermal protection.

A Lycra 3mm wetsuit is suitable for tropical waters, though some divers prefer a 5mm wetsuit if doing multiple dives per day. It depends on your comfort, and we’re happy to advise.

All tanks are fitted with 5/8’s DIN valves. Divers with M26 regulators should note that M26 valve adapters may not be available outside Europe. We have limited adapters available for rent, but we recommend bringing your own or confirming availability with us during booking.

Generally, 60 minutes to ensure the safety and accounting of all divers.

Divers must follow standard safe diving practices, including adhering to depth limits, dive briefings, and avoiding decompression diving unless specifically trained. Additionally, marine conservation rules such as not touching or disturbing wildlife or coral must be respected.

You can generally do 3 to 4 dives per day, including night dives, depending on the itinerary and daily schedule. Over the course of a 7 to 11-night itinerary, you can expect to complete between 18 and 30 dives.

For special dietary needs, such as vegetarian or allergies, please inform us in advance. Items like gluten-free products or soy substitutes may not be available, as we source ingredients locally.

Wi-Fi is available on all liveaboards, with service dependent on mobile signal, usually near port or inhabited areas. The service supports limited browsing and communication apps. For high data usage, we recommend purchasing a local SIM card at Male airport.

Importing alcohol is prohibited in the Maldives and will be confiscated at Customs upon arrival, returned to you at departure.

Alcohol is available onboard. Blue Force One has a full-service bar where you can enjoy cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages during your stay. Alcohol is typically available after diving activities are finished for the day.

Diving in the Maldives includes various types:
