Bunaken Oasis redefines luxury diving in Bunaken. Positioned at the pinnacle of luxury, our goal is to provide a 5-star diving experience while maintaining a minimal ecological footprint.
The resort features 12 spacious, traditionally built villas, including one family villa with two bedrooms and another near the Long House for guests with mobility concerns.
A major highlight of Bunaken Oasis is the free-form infinity pool, complete with sun loungers and convenient access to the bar. This area is perfect for those who wish to relax above the water while enjoying stunning views.
Location
Bunaken is not a white-sand, ‘paradise’ island but a vibrant working island with nearly 3,000 inhabitants engaged in farming, fishing, and tourism. It offers a genuine glimpse into authentic Indonesian life, showcasing the rich and colorful island culture.

Getting Here
The easiest way to reach Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort and Spa is to fly into Singapore and then take a connecting flight from Singapore to Manado. SilkAir operates flights to Manado several times a week. Upon arrival in Manado, you will be greeted by an Oasis representative. After a 30-minute drive to the port in Manado, the journey to Bunaken Oasis takes approximately 30 minutes by boat.
For those on a multi-destination trip, flights to Manado are also available from other Indonesian and Southeast Asian cities with various airlines.
All transfers between Manado Airport and Bunaken Oasis are complimentary for our guests.
Bunaken Diving
With easy access to over 90 exceptional dive sites, Bunaken offers an incredible variety of diving experiences: from vertical walls with the seabed 1,500 meters below, to gentle walls with sandy bottoms, stunning reef tops, and muck diving on the mainland. Bunaken truly has it all. However, at Bunaken Oasis, we believe that the luxury of the diving experience extends beyond what’s beneath the waves.
Diving is conducted from our brand-new, purpose-built dive boats, including one 17-meter fiberglass catamaran, three 14-meter boats, and two 16-meter traditional wooden boats. Each boat is equipped with freshwater deck showers, catering facilities, flushing WCs, and excellent amenities for photographers. We take pride in the spacious and comfortable environment provided on board.
Our PADI dive center features a large, comfortable classroom, a spacious camera room, and ample freshwater rinse tanks. For those traveling light, we offer a comprehensive range of rental equipment from leading manufacturers. Simply bring your logbook and proof of certification.
Bunaken Oasis Explorers is the first in Bunaken Marine Park to offer multi-agency technical diving training, including trimix and CCR compatibility, and access to a vast array of unexplored deep dive sites, all within the setting of an award-winning luxury dive resort. Expect state-of-the-art filling stations, specialized equipment, experienced surface support, and expert advice.
We are also expanding our efforts in North Sulawesi with detailed scientific surveys, environmental awareness for deep-water marine species, and a comprehensive mapping project beyond recreational depths.
